GOMEDA ULTRA TRAIL

The Gomeda Valley Ultra Trail offers a unique running experience where natural and cultural heritage intertwine in Cappadocia's unique landscape. Starting from the historic stone houses of Mustafapaşa, the course winds through steep cliffs, mysterious valley passages, and lush green countryside, inviting athletes on a journey through time. With four difficulty categories ranging from 5K to 50K, this event appeals to both beginners and experienced ultra-trail enthusiasts, offering a challenge alongside fairy chimneys, rock-carved churches, and panoramic views of Cappadocia.

Organized by the ONU KORU platform, the Gomeda Valley Ultra Trail aims not only to test physical endurance but also to raise environmental awareness, strengthen awareness of the climate crisis, and encourage a sustainable lifestyle. The event, which will kick off at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from the Start/Finish area in Mustafapaşa, contributes to the popularization of nature sports, regional tourism, and intercultural dialogue, while also implementing an environmentally friendly organizational model through sponsorship partnerships.
